Getting started with Spacecamps

Sign up with your name and email. Once you have verified your email, sign in to start setting up.

If you already have an account, sign in and carry on from your dashboard.

Every paid plan starts with a free trial. You can also skip the subscription for now and set up one caravan park with up to five sites.

Guests can’t book on your portal until you subscribe. Pick a plan on the Plans page when you’re ready.

Give your park a name, description, location and photos. Guests see all of it on your booking portal.

Open Sites & Cabins and add each site with its nightly rate, how many guests it takes and its minimum stay. Power, surface, site access and the longest rig a site fits each have their own field on the site.

Park amenities are what every guest can use, such as the pool, camp kitchen, laundry or Wi-Fi. Tick the ones your park has on the Amenities & Features page, and guests see them on your portal’s Amenities page.

Site features are what one site has that others may not, such as an ensuite, a fire pit or water views. Tick them on each site’s page, or tick several sites on Sites & Cabins and choose Edit Site Features to add or remove them on all of them at once. Guests see them on each site’s card and page and can filter the Sites page by them. Staff can filter New Booking by them too.

If something is missing from either list, add your own on the Amenities & Features page: Add Custom in a category for a park amenity, or in the Site Features section for a site feature. Only your park sees the ones you add. Use the pencil on one to rename it, change its icon or move an amenity to another category, or the bin to delete it. Deleting a site feature takes it off every site that has it.

Open Pricing and set your rates, with seasonal ones if you charge them, so the portal quotes each stay at the right price.

Open Site Map, upload a map or aerial photo of your caravan park, then drag each site to where it sits. Guests use the map to pick a site, and staff use it to find one.

Every caravan park gets a booking portal where guests look through your sites, check dates and book. On the Booking Portal page, add a cover image and your brand colour so guests recognise your park, then put the link on your website and social media.

Bookings made on the portal show up in Bookings and on your calendar, next to the ones your staff take at the desk.

Open Fees & Taxes and say whether your park is registered for GST (sales tax or VAT outside Australia and New Zealand). If it is, guests can’t book online until you set it up, so nobody books without paying it.

To set up GST, start from a template: Australia adds GST at 10%, New Zealand at 15%. Either way the GST is included in your site rates and taxable fees, so guests pay the same price and see the GST under each total. You can also pick a template when you add a tax jurisdiction yourself.

Add your tax number on the same page: your ABN in Australia, or your GST number in New Zealand. Booking confirmation emails then print it with the GST, so they work as tax invoices.
